- 非常理想化的人物，几乎所有的优点都集中在长林王府的三个男性身上了。但是中间有几集很感动，有时候就是想在日复一日的算计和小聪明中看看英雄和道义是什么样子的吧。
- 3.5 拖了两年，终于下决心追完...放国产剧环境下可给四星，但和前作有较大差距。前作甫一开头就以“基督山伯爵”式的强设定浓墨重彩掀起风波，随之是无数的惊涛骇浪；而这部则是反向镜像，看似为续集，实则是一种“平行时空”式的弥补——萧平旌就是一个“假如没有前尘往事版”的林殊，走上阴损算计之路的萧元启是他有如“双生”的对立面，二者的命运轨迹在某种意义上前仆后继又最终相聚。这种风格构思上的转向，有意区别于前作，但却又处处离不开前作的影子。剧作上，结构是较为庸常的“平起平起平”，但节奏拿捏得不够；笔法虽细微有序、风向暗涌，立意并不比前作低但丧失了力道和霸气，没办法吊起胃口。唯一加分项就是摄制服化道了。
