- A journalist's wife insists on adopting an abandoned child....
好奇为什么这部默默无闻的片子是GT个人的心头好，看了才知道它的特别。由一对夫妇领养孩子的故事带出对先天血统和后天环境哪个对孩子影响更大的讨论。男女主的观念大概都能代表那个年代的普通夫妇，以现代的眼光看很难忍住不去judge，但片子给足了空间让观众理解他们，两人的感情、领养过程中的冲突和初为父母的不安都表现得真实可信不做作。一开始不太想要孩子且坚定血统论的男主的转变过程写得不错，不是因为对妻子的爱而选择让步而是在调查过程（对养子亲生父母noir范儿的背景调查，跟片子的基调略不搭但无伤大雅）中确实被说服。领养机构负责人这个角色也挺有意思的，作为环境论的支持者显得比男主讨喜得多，片子很明智地没有让她成为最后说服男主的人。值得一看的sleeper。
