前面大部分其实都不错，就像是老朋友重逢一样，虽然Hasty这集对Jesse说I'mveryfondofyou的次数有点多了；最后结局的枪战有点浮夸了，Jesse虽然以前也经常硬刚但多多少少有点有勇有谋的感觉，这次全靠反派硬空两枪
非常典型的美式小镇生活/警匪片，特别正的美式家庭剧系列（当然是枪战动作类，不是肥皂类），适合陪你三十年...退休老社区片警沉稳应对，见微知著揪出幕后贪腐前同僚，美式老派硬汉形象代表之一，1911不离手！（比西格尔强多了）。
没有继承系列惯有的拍摄画面，感觉更加艳丽，结局有些草草收尾的感觉，
